Following a recommendation from a friend, I initially went to Lisa to speak to her about potentially having a breast re-augmentation due to slight capsular contraction. During the initial consultation, I also enquired about my tummy, which I had always been concerned with post two Caesarean sections. I described the other health issues I was experiencing relating to my posture, tilted pelvis and lower back pain/sciatica from a slipped disc. Just from looking at my photos, without even examining me in person, Lisa was confident that I was suffering from a hernia – a permanent separation in my tummy muscles, spanning from my sternum to my pelvic bone and caused by my two pregnancies.

It had never occurred to me that these things were all linked but made perfect sense when she explained the functional nature and benefits an abdominoplasty could offer. If this was purely a cosmetic procedure, I don’t think I would have proceeded as it is a large and intrusive operation with significant downtime. However, the functional and associated health benefits this operation could provide me with long term led me to book my surgery date. This was 12 weeks ago and I can honestly say it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Lisa was indeed correct, I was suffering from a 5-6cm split in my tummy muscles, which she has now skilfully and permanently repaired.

After years of regular chiropractic care, my lower back pain has disappeared. The discomfort I used to feel in my pelvis/thigh from taking long walks has disappeared. My bowel function, which has never been regular since childhood, is now moving daily. The icing on the cake is my new body silhouette – I’ve gone from a saggy belly overhang to a toned, smooth and contoured mid-line. For the first time in my life, I have the confidence to wear figure-hugging clothes that skim every curve. I had been considering an abdominoplasty for some time before deciding to go ahead. I researched lots of surgeons, patients’ experiences and before/after photos. I was concerned about the appearance of my tummy post-op, especially as some women seemed to end up with a very unnatural looking naval which makes it very obvious that they’ve had abdominal surgery. I decided to contact Lisa after seeing her before/after pics. She pays great attention to detail and every operation is tailored to the individual. Needless to say, I am very glad I decided to choose Lisa as my surgeon. I couldn’t be happier with the result. A year down the line, my scar is barely visible, my tummy button looks as natural as it did many years ago (pre-babies!) and I feel slim, healthy, my posture has improved and the lower back pain I suffered from has virtually gone.

My experience at the Nuffield was second to none. The pre-op assessments are thorough and there are many opportunities to discuss any concerns. Aftercare is excellent, the nurses are friendly and caring and make sure you are comfortable and pain-free. In April 2015 I decided to go through with Abdominoplasty (tummy Tuck) after numerous visits and a lot of thought.

I am a mum of 2 boys which at that time they were age 7 and 9, my eldest son has Autism so needs more support daily so putting myself through this procedure also affected my whole family unit.

Why do I say this you ask? First of all you couldn’t ask for a more down to earth lady as Lisa Sack, she is amazing at her work from the beginning to the end of my surgery I always felt supported by herself and her team. I am not going to say the recovery was easy as it wasn’t. I found it hard watching people doing my day to day chores but I got through it.

It’s now 1 year 7 months down the line and my life has changed, I have confidence again I attend boot camp weekly and have a different outlook on life. I would like to thank Lisa and Liana for their professional support and ongoing support they have given me.

I had a tummy tuck and breast uplift with Lisa Sacks in September 2016.

After losing just over 10 stone naturally, I was left with loose skin across my stomach and less that pert breasts. It was such a frustration because I had worked hard to lose the weight and yet I didn’t feel that I had a body to celebrate. Being 28, I should have spent the past few years enjoying myself but I had lost all confidence. Luckily, I had an understanding partner but it was very difficult.

I initially met Lisa in 2014, I was then a size 12 (having previously been a size 24). I wanted to find out more about the tummy tuck. At the time, I couldn’t see how it would work financially and I wanted to try and reprogram my mind to accept my body. I walked out of the initial consultation feeling that it wasn’t for me. There was absolutely no pressure from Lisa to continue and I really respected this.

Two years passed and I had dropped to a size 8. After maintaining this for a year and settling into my new active life, I felt it was time to rethink the procedure. I didn’t want to be ashamed of my partner catching a glimpse of my body any more.

I emailed Liana (Lisa’s PA) and she quickly arranged another consultation, again, no pressure to proceed and this was free as I’d paid for the initial consultation before.

Lisa talked me through the procedure again and I asked to add the breast uplift.

I booked the procedure and the rest is history.

Lisa and her team have been on hand pretty much 24/7 whenever I have been worried about pre-op or post op issues. Her care is exemplary and her interest in you as an individual is priceless.

A friend, who also had a tummy tuck with Lisa had mentioned her as a possible surgeon but I’d already come across her name as no.14 in The Times ‘Top 30 Cosmetic Surgeons’.

I felt so lucky that such a well regarded surgeon lived in my city! I was also inspired by her passion for art and knew that this would translate into her medical profession. As Lisa often says, ‘I am a dress maker’, and what an absolutely stunning dress she has made out of my body! No longer do I fear being seen, in fact, quite the opposite! I am so excited with my new physique that I have been relaxing in spas in my bikini, attending pole dancing and burlesque classes and have just booked a boudoir photo shoot! It’s all thanks to Lisa!

With regard to price, it may seem expensive in comparison to going abroad but, what you have with Lisa is an unquestionably amazing aftercare package. She is with you every step of the way. She will see you each day you are in the hospital and personally changes your dressings. She is on hand by email and text to answer any questions and does not hesitate to invite you back in to see her face to face if you are at all concerned. This is included within the price. It is honestly invaluable! Please, if you take nothing else from this, understand that I am by no means a ‘wealthy’ individual but every penny I spent on this procedure was worth it and I regret nothing!

I chose The Chesterfield because it was the hospital in which Lisa practiced.

It is a wonderful place and feels more like a 5 star hotel rather than a hospital. The staff were amazing. I couldn’t thank the anesthetist enough who called me the night before I went in for the surgery to check if I was worried about anything. I was indeed worried about having a line in my hand (silly, I know) but he immediately put my mind at rest and assured me that I could have numbing cream. This meant so much.

The food was amazing and the care from nursing and support staff was fabulous.

I would not hesitate to recommend Lisa and The Chesterfield.

Lola – Tummy Tuck

I had my tummy tuck with Lisa 3 months ago, and am over the moon with my results. I’m 37 and have 2 boys (4 and 7 ). My tummy muscles separated after my first pregnancy, leaving me with two bulges on my tummy no matter how much i exercised. I was still only size 8-10; but seeing my tummy was upsetting me every single day. Finally, when our youngest was 4, and my husband and I decided that our family was complete, I decided to do something about it.

I found Lisa thanks to all the wonderful reviews on this and other websites. She was not the nearest surgeon to me (she is in Bristol and I am in Hertfordshire, so it’s 2.5hrs by car or train each way!). But because most consultations were online, I found this very manageable; and only had to travel to Bristol 3 times (one for pre-op consultation; one for surgery and one for 2 weeks post-op check-up). Lisa was on hand via Whatsapp all times day and night; so I did not at all feel unsafe not living in Bristol. We also had regular Zoom follow-ups, in which I could raise any concerns (if I had any).

I was terribly anxious before the op, but it all went very well; and I could feel my corset-like repaired abs on the evening of the surgery. My recovery went smoothly; I was working from home 2 weeks after surgery; and now 3 months on I am back to doing karate, yoga as well HIIT and weights. Aesthetically, my tummy looks even better than I expected. Bulges on the stomach and wrinkly skin have gone. I now have a definitive hourglass shape, something that I didn’t expect. My tummy is super flat – it no longer sags when I do plank and no longer hangs over the top of my trousers, skirts, etc. This has given me enormous confidence – I can wear cropped tops (which I didn’t do even when I was a teenager!); I no longer turn off the light when I am intimate with my husband; I am also more motivated to eat well and exercise as it makes tummy result even better.

To summarise I am super pleased with my results. Lisa is a fantastic surgeon – I followed her instructions to the letter, and she created a result that far exceeded my expectations. She is also wonderful and caring person; once you meet her you make a friend for life.

Amazing Support and Fantastic Result! 4 months post op. I am a 38 year old mum to 3 children. My second pregnancy with twins left me with a significant abdominal muscle divarification and excess skin on my tummy. The bulging tummy and excess skin meant I just didn’t feel like myself and had plenty of health niggles as a result of such poor abdominal muscle function – lower back ache, hip pain, poor bowel function. I am now 12 weeks post tummy tuck and abdominal muscle plication surgery and am so pleased with the result. The improvement to my bodily function is amazing (with all the niggles resolved) including some unexpected positives as a result of better vagina positioning as I no longer have a tilt to my pelvis. And I feel like I look like myself again with a lovely flat tummy. The scar and belly button still needs time to heal fully but is already looking good.
